Mrs. Murphy is an English teacher at Neptune High. Her main claim to fame is that she was the first character on the show to say "Veronica Mars."
She also has the honor of having a homeroom class that not only contains Corny and Mandy, but also Logan and Jackie. That's quite a mixture of extreme flaky and extreme bitchy for one teacher to have to deal with.
