Marcos Oliveres

"Don't hate me, I'm trying to tell it like it is."

Seemingly quiet and shy, Marcos was one of the students killed in the bus crash. Having found a whole new way of paying it back to his most obnoxious schoolmates, Marcos thrived as one half of the pirate radio show duo Cap'n Krunk and Imitation Crab. His talent for drawings gave the show its unique graphic layout, while his sense of humor gained him faithful fans. His personality also gained him a crush, who, being a boy, did not find the approval of his parents. Scared of their son questioning his sexuality, they sent him to a reprogramming camp and urged him to take part in "normal" activities — like a field trip to a baseball stadium. Are the Olivereses to blame for their son's death? Ryan certainly thinks so, while Veronica fears it might be her own fault.

To everyone's surprise though, it was Marcos's own eagerness to right a wrong that cost his life. Determined to reveal Woody Goodman's darkest secret, he and Peter Ferrer waved away Beaver's objections and decided to out him as a fellow victim of the mayor's sexual pervertions, not anticipating that Beaver really objected to that. The rest, as they say, is history — bomb, bus crash, long plunge to death. Tattletaling just ain't all it's cracked up to be.
