Cora was Dean O'Dell's administrative assistant. She was very protective of the dean's time with men who didn't have appointments. She plays exposition fairy for Keith months after the dean's death, explaining that Cyrus had a normal day the day he died — other than the visit from a cigar-smoking man and the fact that the dean had run out of Xanax. It's unfortunate that Cora didn't stay late the night Cyrus died. She was an excellent bodyguard.
