3.12 "There's Got To Be A Morning After Pill"

Aired Feb 06, 2007

Summary

Do you ever wonder how Veronica Mars is like The Poseidon Adventure? I mean, Keith would be Ernest Borgnine and Veronica would be Shelly Winters. Of course, that would make Lamb Leslie Nielsen, and that's just wrong. Anyway, in this episode, the sinking 'ship is Veronica and Logan, as she confronts him about his one-night stand with Madison and then breaks up with him. Bonnie, who was pregnant, goes to Veronica to find out who slipped her a morning-after pill and made her miscarry. Veronica has two ideal suspects (Tim and Dick), but neither is guilty — instead, it's Bonnie's roommate, Phyllis. In the end, Veronica refuses to crush Madison's car into a tiny cube, learning a valuable lesson from Reverend Gene Hackman Capistrano about anger. And in O'Dell-related news, Keith helps Mindy remove her ex-husband from her house and, in the process, finds more clues against her. There's got to be a morning after, if he can hold on through the night. He'll have a chance to find the culprit, just keep on looking for the...egg shell?

Important Parts

  • Veronica keeps having nightmares about Logan and Madison having sex. She breaks up with Logan because she can't get over that he slept with Madison. Logan leaves a message, apologizing, but Veronica doesn't listen to that part of it.

  • Keith asks Mindy why the police report said there was a minivan in the parking lot. She said she was driving the Volvo that night. She had switched cars with him for the weekend so he could move his son's drum equipment.

  • Steve, Mindy's ex-husband, breaks into her house. She hasn't been paying the money she promised him because she can't afford it now that Cyrus has died. Mindy calls Keith to help her, since he lives nearby.

  • Keith inspects the Volvo while he is at Mindy's house and removes a small piece of eggshell from under the windshield wiper.

  • Bonnie tells Veronica that she was pregnant, but someone slipped her an RU-486, a drug to induce a miscarriage. Veronica suspects Tim or Dick, the possible fathers, but it was Bonnie's roommate.

  • While investigating Tim, Veronica discovers that he is investigating Dean O'Dell's supposed suicide. He found an earwitness, Anthony, who heard the shot, but was drunk. It occurred around 2:20 AM.
