Sheriff Don Lamb

In his years serving in Neptune's sheriff office, Don Lamb has gone through many names: Deputy Lamb, Sheriff Lamb, the Exterminator. He's locked himself out of the evidence closet, played bad cop to Keith's good cop, lifted weights, and even done the Robot. In front of witnesses. He's blackmailed and threatened and cajoled and been outsmarted by Veronica too many times to count. He's made out with Madison and made fun of Deputy Sacks. And through all that, he did it with a smarmy smile on his face.

Oh, Lamb, how we shall miss that smarmy smile. Who knew that a meth head with a baseball bat would be the end of you? Who knew that Sacks would have the guts to shoot your killer, however late it was? Who knew...that you were a fan of *M*A*S*H*?

Certainly not the viewers. So little of Lamb's backstory has been revealed, save only that he went to Southwest Texas before blowing a knee and dropping out of school and that he might have had an abusive relationship with his father. That didn't stop him, however, from being a jackass to Keith when running for reelection, to Terrence Cook when investigating the bus crash, to Weevil when he arrested him right before he graduated, or even to Veronica when she told him she was raped.

Lamb represented the seedy corruption of Neptune. What will happen in the wake of his death? How will a reinstated Sheriff Mars change the status quo? Will he make Sacks shave his mustache? Why don't you go see the Wizard? Ask him for some answers.
