Getting People Hooked

List of Ideas

  1. Veronica Mars DVDs
Buy the DVDs and force those nearest and dearest to you to watch them. How can anyone not get hooked on the show after watching classic episodes like the Pilot, "An Echolls Family Christmas," or "Clash of the Tritons"? (And if you buy the DVDs from the Amazon link on our DVD page, 7.5% of the sale will go to Rob's favorite charity.)
  2. Start VM threads on non-VM boards
During my site-pimping, Google-based spam-a-thon, I came across quite a few Veronica Mars threads on non-VM boards, such as boards about food, Incubus, Christianity, baby names, sports, Alias, Lost, Star Trek, comic books etc. Quite a few VM fans were able to talk their fellow posters into giving the show a chance. Since they already knew each other, these non-fans trusted the glowing recommendations of their fellow posters.
  3. LiveJournals
LJ users, continue pimping the show on your journals in order to convince the non-VM-fans on your friends list to give the show a chance. Your friends list can be a powerful weapon in this battle against VM apathy.
  4. Send VM E-cards to your friends and family members.

If you have any other ideas, email us, and we'll put add them to the list.
